TWINS: Real Life Unicorns

Hello, ya old blog! It has been forever since I've updated anything here because:

1. twins getting older = twins getting more mobile = less time to sit and write

2. Pretty Little Liars came into my life and consumed it

3. Summer

So only now that I'm all caught up with PLL, the twins are napping, and it's too hot to go outside, I sit here and write.

And sadly, the first thing that comes to mind is how every time I go out with Jack and Clare, people act like they spot a unicorn. I've had ladies get up from their lunch to come over and oggle at them. People stop mid conversation to remark TWINS!?!?!?!? I think some people get offended I don't take them out of their stroller, put little hats on them and make them dance around clapping their hands

Part of me can't wait until their like 4 or 5 and don't look like cute babies anymore. They'll just look like siblings who might be 18 months apart. Don't get me wrong...I love their baby faces and I'm already getting SO SO sad that in a month they'll be turning 1, but I really miss going out and have some anonymity.

Ok, end of short rant. UPDATES

Jack is now 20lbs WAAAT, crawls, stands and snuggles his way into everyone's heart. That boy is one big marshmallow who loves eating and sleeping. Seriously, when he's not doing those things, he's banging everything together because music is his other favorite.

Clare is a whopping 16lbs haha my little itty bitty. She's still our rough and tumble and has started WALKING in the last couple weeks. She also started sleeping through the night all on her own about a month ago which is AWESOME because now both babes go to sleep at night in their own cribs and don't wake up again until the morning. (hence why PLL came into my life. What the heck am I supposed to do now in the evenings?!)

And now, a couple pics :)

#TBT? Our First Christmas and a Baptism

I realized I never wrote about our first Christmas OR the twin's baptism, which happened the day after Christmas. I mean, can you blame me? I thought the holidays were busy before having babies. Boy is that ridiculous.
I'm not going to actually write much of anything, now that I've decided to make a blog entry because all I really want to do is remember how lovely the whole season was with some fun pictures. It was crazy busy, yes but it was a great reminder to be appreciative of all the family and friends we have. Truly, I know we wouldn't be as happy as we are without their presence in our lives :)

So, here's some pictures of their baptism:

And here's just a couple from Christmas:
